VISIONING
This is one of those buzzwords currently in vogue that people will either quickly relate too, or, equally quickly, be repelled by. While usually not as important to the success of your enterprise as is a clearly articulated mission, a visioning exercise helps you flesh out your understanding of what an ideal world might look like were you ever able to fulfill your own mission. How is it that your enterprise will change your corner of the world? What, ultimately, do you want to accomplish? Examining the potential can be one of the most energizing components of strategizing, and it’s usually well worth consideration.
